SHOWING OFF MY PRETTY TAIL

I see a bird in the tree. If I don't move maybe it will land on my tail.

I know it's in here somewhere!

Shyla, in her constant seach for birds and bugs, thinks she has finally found where they all are hiding. Her tail never stops wagging.

HAPPINESS

There is only one thing that could be better then me and that would be two of me.

NAP TIME

After a long day of playing, Shyla naps with Libby.

TAKE ME FOR A RIDE

Shyla just loves to explore. She is always busy looking at everything. She likes to jump in the back of the truck with Sherman or the car or even hop into the boat.

SHYLA'S PAST

Shyla Penelope is a sweet and petite little orange setter girl that was dumped at an Arkansas shelter for being gun shy. We think she's got the cutest little angel face and you can see she enjoys looking forward to her brighter future---as she peeks out of the window at her foster home, where she as just arrived.

Shyla was rescued by her kind first foster mommy from an Arkansas shelter.

Shyla ended up at the shelter for a very familiar reason. Her owner wanted to use her for hunting and decided to shoot a gun off over her head and Shyla ran off.
Many setters end up at the shelter after an "unsuccessful" hunt and are discarded. Often times it's inadequate training methods used that scare our poor foster dogs half to death.

DID SOMEONE CALL MY NAME

Shyla, fresh out of the pond, thinks that someone is calling her name. Could it be you??

TRYING TO HIDE FROM THE BIRDS

Shyla tries to surprise the birds by hiding in the flowers. If she could make her tail quit moving she would have a better chance.

READY FO A NAP

After a long day in the yard Shyla loves to cuddle and take a nap.

She has so much fun playing all day and can't wait for her forever home.

Watching for birds and fish

Shyla is always on the look out for any of the birds that might be flying around the yard. She also keeps an eye on the fish in case one gets close enough to jump on.

Shyla arrives in foster care!

The very first thing that Shyla did when she arrived was to check the pond out.
